Corporate membership:

• 12-month fee of € 1,200 for EU-15
• 12-month fee of € 800 for EU-10
• 12-month fee of € 500 for members from Candidate and Western Balkan countries

Individual membership:

• 12-month fee of € 200 (EU-25)
• 12-month fee of € 100 for members from Candidate and Western Balkan countries

It is to be understood that the scope of services offered by the secretariat will be proportionate to the annual fee paid.

Membership applications need to be approved by the Secretariat of the Steering Committee.  Membership is effective from the day of receipt of payment.

Membership in the new Network will be open to:

• regional entities (organizations and individuals from the EU-25, Candidate Countries and the Western Balkans - 'RIBN Region'), as well as to 
• extra-regional entities (individuals from other countries and organizations headquartered outside EU and South-Eastern Europe).

While the first category will benefit in understanding better how the EU operates, and learning from others in the region and the rest of EU, the second category of members will benefit from easier access to potential partners in the 'RIBN Region' and better understanding of the business- and research environments in the 'RIBN region'.

The Network will target for membership the following entitites:

• Business (particular emphasis on SMEs), clusters and business associations;
• Funding institutions (e.g. banks, investment groups, venture capitalists, …);
• Knowledge centres (universities, academies, research associations, science, technology and innovation parks and related networks);
• Education and training institutions;
• Business support entities and consultancies;
• Regional authorities and their specialized agencies;
• NGOs active in areas relevant to the Network.
